Tried a new (new to me) local place after church today! Super yummy, and the staff was amazing. Juan, the manager and Jessica, one of the servers, were both awesome, but everyone was fantastic!! (Sorry if I didn’t catch your names) They were extremely busy, but I felt like I was the only one in the restaurant, as they were all so accommodating, and I never felt pressured to have to leave my table. I was even offered more refills on my soda when I was clearly finished with my lunch. (This was during the World Cup, so there was a soccer match playing on TV, but again, appreciated not feeling pushed out to clear my table for someone else. I have a feeling this will be a reoccurring lunch spot after church, as the menu has so many things to try. Regarding the food, I started with hot and sour soup which had so much flavor, and was packed with tofu, and vegetables. The meat wrap and spicy wontons (with pork and shrimp) were both amazing and again, did not disappoint. Both were packed with flavor. I reluctantly added Sesame balls for dessert, (I was very full) since I can’t pass those up and I’ve had them in so many different places, but these were by far my favorite I have ever experie

This hidden gem inside a restaurant inside a market… is SO DELICIOUS!! 10 out of 10 ⭐️!! The staff super nice. The portions are made fresh with very generous servings. You could share 1 dish with 2 people & still take home left overs. Ordered the Thai tea & we had not finished it… & they offered to-go cups & had the cups half filled with Thai tea so that we could take a full serving with us. Chicken dumplings were made fresh & very flavorful & served with fresh ginger. I would definitely recommend Mama Lu’s! Thank you!

Mama Lu Dumpling House is a pretty decent place if you’re looking for quick service and good portions. I ordered the chicken fried rice and the potstickers—both were flavorful and satisfying without feeling heavy. The portions are generous, so you definitely get good value for what you pay. Another plus: there’s ample free parking, which makes the whole experience even easier. Overall, a reliable spot when you want something tasty and fast.

Mama Lu Dumpling House is truly a standout spot for dumpling lovers. It can be a little easy to miss from the outside since it’s tucked into a strip mall (near CVS and Meet Fresh), but once you find it, it’s absolutely worth it. The handmade dumplings are consistently fresh and packed with flavor. The juicy pork and chive dumplings are always a favorite, and the xiao long bao come out perfectly steamed with rich, savory broth inside. Every bite tastes authentic and comforting. The noodle dishes bring that warm, homestyle flavor that makes you feel like you’re enjoying a meal in Shanghai. The space itself is spacious and great for larger groups. The ambiance is simple and no-frills, but that just adds to its charm — the focus is clearly on the food. Service is attentive and efficient, even when the restaurant gets busy, and the staff is great about making recommendations.

Mama Lou’s Dumpling House just opened their new Tustin location, and it’s really good! I’ve been to Mama Lou’s before and this spot definitely lives up to it.We ordered the Kung Pao chicken, beef fried rice noodles, green beans, and soup dumplings. Everything came out hot and flavorful. The soup dumplings were really good — juicy and full of flavor. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!
